Residential Energy Performance Certificates

Under the European Building Directive all residential properties are now required to have an Energy Performance Certificate in place at the time of new tenancy or sale.

As a property owner-occupier or residential landlord who is thinking of selling or renting, it is your responsibility to ensure that your property has a valid home energy certificate detailing your property's energy efficiency rating.

Commercial Energy Performance Certificates

From 1st October 2008, all commercial buildings or non dwellings, save for a few excepted cases, will require an Energy Performance Certificate on construction, sale or let.
