Wood Pellet Boilers

The BioWIN is the benchmark for modern wood pellet boiler. Sophisticated, weather compensation and modulating controls to 30% of max. output ensure that the right amount of energy is delivered to keep your home feeling warm and cosy without producing excess warmth, thus helping you to keep your heating costs down and protect the environment.

With a range from 2.9 to 78 kW, the BioWIN offers the perfect solution for low-energy homes, as well as in buildings with high heating requirements.

The FireWIN symbolises a new generation of in-room pellet boilers bringing a new dimension to comfortable living and the romance of a real fire.
Rated for heat loads between 3.8 to 12kW modulating controls ensure that comfort and quality of life is delivered with optimum efficiency at all times.

Pellets are one of the cheapest fuels on the market with the most stable prices.  39kg of pellets can be held in the integral container so that the boiler is always ready for use. Manual or automatic feed, and programmable timer enable it to operate automatically during your absence, e.g. on holiday.

You can choose to manually feed the integral hopper of your boiler with pellets, in which case you will need to do this two or three times a week in the mid winter, about once a week in spring & autumn and approx. monthly in summer.

For a fairly accurate estimate of the amount of pellets you may require in a year, first establish from past bills the kWh of gas or oil your current boiler used last year, then multiply this figure by 0.0112,  the result you get will be the approx. amount of 16kg sacks you can expect to use in a year.

If manually feeding is not for you and you have a suitable area to store pellets, you could opt for a fully automated feed system.  Both BioWIN and FireWIN pellet boilers can be supplied with this option as standard.

A pellet store should be constructed to a size and sited in a location such that a delivery by tanker truck, of at least 4 months use, can be made without long distances involved.

This could be a vertical silo stood outside, or in an adjacent room of the house or basement if you have one; either way the pellets need to be kept dry and the space well ventilated.

The vacuum operated pellet transport feeder system, which is standard to the Windhager range has a valid European patent and do not incorporate an auger feeder, which can jam and require attention.

Split Log Boilers

The SilvaWIN Klassik wood gasification boiler is the height of modern design and top-class boiler technology that leaves nothing to be desired.
Rated at 10 to 24 kW thermal output is offers Automatic ignition, multi sensor reading and modulation down to 50%, providing fast and impressive performance with optimum energy use and heating comfort.

Install a single SilvaWIN log boiler with accumulator tank (required for all log boilers) or in combination with another heat generator, such as a wood pellet boiler or your existing gas / oil boiler.

The LogWIN split log boiler is a  modular wood boiler for split logs, scrap wood, wood briquettes, wood chips of min. 5 cm.
Rated for a thermal output of 13 to 50 kW, it is suitable for large houses and commercial properties.

It has the largest filling chamber in its class, making it possible to obtain burning times of up to 13 hours.
By combining an intelligent THERMO-control combustion regulation system and LAMDA probe, clean, efficient burning and complete utilisation of the energy contained in the fuel is achieved.

Solid fuel Boiler

The FKU is an sturdy inexpensive solid fuel natural draught boiler with a rated heat output of 12.7 to 32.6 kW.  It is simple to operate, efficient and reliable.  For the cost-conscious person wanting to heat with a variety of fuels, (wood, Coke, Coal, wood chippings, etc) yet seeks the confidence of a boiler that will deliver  of heat to meet your needs.

The FKU is a robust heating solution that offers basic functions and efficiency.  Manual feed only.

Wood fuelled Range Cooker

The VestoWIN A central heating wood burning range cooker that combines the functions of a modern oven with that of a hot water central heating boiler for cooking and whole house heating of living areas all at the same time.
These units can be used as the main heating source, in tandem with an oil or gas boiler, or with a wood pellet boiler to provide efficient low carbon heating.

An ideal solution for properties where space may be at a premium or as a low carbon alternative to an oil or electric range cooker.  Manual feed only.
